Saigon (Ho chi min city)
It is a pearl among cities of Vietnam, the most important city of Vietnam, herewith with a bit western tinge. In this city, where is a lot of fan, there is really many things to do there, including Czech mini brewery, where is cooked very tasty beer.
There are very good opportunities to shop, no matter if you are lover of galleries (you can buy really very interesting things, pictures, photos, objects of art made from alabaster and bronze, beautiful silk or, you can just taste atmosphere of markets and remote lanes. Of course you find boutique Louis Vuitton and other famous brand names there. Luxury is mixed with fragrance of orient.
Local cooking is also different from the northern one, a bit closer to Thai one, selection of possibilities is large, you can find hot-dog stand as well as luxury restaurants. In principle you can eat well and cheap in cheap lunchrooms. Sightseeing of city takes at least one day in all. There are places you just have to see them as for example beautiful old boulevards, hotel Rix with the most famous coffee-room where the agents CIA had meetings and beautiful post as well. Architecture in Vietnam is wonderful thanks to the French, which in Indochina (so also in Vietnam) staked money and effort. There is no wonder they did not wanted to leave this country after the war.
Second day: transfer and sightseeing of underground tunnels, where cruel fights with American forces took place - see program. Arrival to Saigon, check in, transfer to chosen hotel in the centre of city, individual program (we recommend to visit museum of war). In the evening you can enjoy atmosphere of old city, wide boulevards, marvel beautiful houses, or visit one of many clubs. If you wish our delegate can dwell to you till late night hours. Second day after breakfast transfer to tunnels Cu - Chi follows it, where you will see unbelievably subtle system of corridors and tunnels of Vietkong fighter against Americans. The corridors are 250 km long and 10000 fighters lived there. In the afternoon transfer to Saigon sight-seeing through the city. Third day after breakfast check out of the hotel and transfer to delta of the river Mekong, what covers two thirds of the republic. Float through canals, visiting of islands, indigenous manufactory of confectionary, tasting of teas and local specialities, transfer to the chosen hotel. Fifth day you transfer to airport according to departure. We recommend a combination of other packet.
